Here are the resources I promised you. Since I think it’s important not to become overwhelmed… I have arranged these in the order in which I think you should implement them.
Having said that… you may already be ahead of me. If so, feel free to jump around and put into play those resources you need right now. But… don’t overlook any of them.
BTW… these will change over time. After all, the only constant is change. The technological resources are getting better and better everyday. Embrace it and profit handsomely (it’s the ultimate in leverage baby!).
Three Actions You Can Take Tonight To Make A Lot More Money…
With A Lot Less Work!
- Sign up for a FREE Account with RoboForm. No doubt you will find out how good this simple little tool is and want the full blown version later (including the FREE Online Versions for Registered Users). To sign up for your FREE account click here: RoboForm
- Sign up for a FREE Account on either Postlets or vFlyer. These are online flyer programs that are easy to use and will autopost for you on a whole bunch of marketing sites. Sign up for an account for both if you are feeling aggressive (I have both). Click here for Postlets. Click here for vFlyer.
- Craigslist is the hottest thing going right now for marketing Real Estate online. If you are not using it you are missing the boat. Plus its FREE (how many times do I have to say it… FREE!). Buy, sell, trap, trade… its all there. Be a pro and post your Postlets or vFlyers on Craiglist and watch you sales increase. Click here to sign up for a FREE Craiglist Account.
Super Charged Tools
- Google Account - Google has so many tools you can use to become more productive. Get a FREE account and check it out. Start with a gmail accout (try yourname@gmail.com). You’ll want a lot of there other tools as well. Be sure to get the Google Reader so you can subscribe to various sites like Craigslist and this one!
- Skype - Skype is a great productivity booster. Make calls right from your computer with an internet connection. Just add a headset and you can keep your hands free for typing and taking notes. Also has an iPhone App so you can make Skype calls on your iPhone from any internet hotspot. Also great for using with virtual assistants in other countries!
- Google Voice - Another FREE product from Google. Telephone number with voice mail and transcription. Can forward to your mobile phone. Text message alerts, etc. Lots of cool benefits including the ability to change your number. Great for bandit signs or somewhat annonymous marketing test.
- Evernote – I love this tool. Never forget anything again. A great filing system for all of your notes, files, pictures, etc. My Fujitsu ScanSnap scans right into this program. Easy to retrieve and email documents from this program. iPhone App is frosting on the cake.
– OK… I’ve tried a lot of the online backup programs. This by far is the best with the most features. Sync with your system. Store docs online and remove from your hard drive. Share files. Once again the iPhone App makes this accessible for anywhere. Click on the banner and set up a free account and give it a test drive!
Using Google Reader
Any website you visit that has the little orange icon in the address bar can be subscribed to via Google Reader simply by clicking on the link. Look at the top of this page in the address bar and you click on the orange icon to subscribe to this site in your Google Reader.
This makes keeping up with websites so much easier. I suggest you do the same with any site such as Craigslist that you want to view updates easily without having to visit the site over and over again.
Here’s Another Simply Trick: Whether you are using Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer as your browser, you can set multiple tabs as your home page. Open your browser and it will default to your current homepage. Now… hit “Ctrl T” and a new tab will pop open. Set this tab to your gmail account. Hit “Ctrl T” again and open yet another tab. Type in the address of your Google Reader in the address bar of this tab. Get it?
Do this as many time as you like… then go to “Tools”>”Options”>”Main” and click on the button that will set your current tabs as your homepage.
Now every time you boot up your browser you will have you gmail account accessible along with your Google Reader. This makes keeping up so much easier.
BTW… be sure to set up Google Reader and subscribe to this page. You’ll be glad you did.
I have several other things I promised you I would add to this page. One was the “Internet Chain Reaction“ technique I talked about in the class. I’m going to put together a short little Camtasia video on how to do this… along with how anyone can set up there own website in about 5 minutes… yes… even you! Check back in a day or two to see what I’ve added.
