My name is Venus Jones, a wanna-be real estate investor. I attended the meeting today, Thursday 1/21/2010 at the Jackson Country Club. I heard your presentation on short sales. Of course I was inpressed with your knowledge and presentation along with you humor. As I stated I am a wanna-be investor. In preparation of this career I have taken a number of real estate courses including the Armondo Montelongo investment course. I have recently studied at the Real Estate Institute for my sales and brokers license. I am planning on taking the real estate sales exam next week. I have also taken six courses for the real estate appraisal exam on the coast in 2009. Currently, I am enrolled in an introduction to commercial real estate with the CCIM. I have spent thousands of dollars trying to get to the place that you are in investing.
The reason that I am contacting you is to make you an offer. Although I have taken all these courses, I am falling short of entering into this business. My offer to you is this; I will volunteer to work for you for free if you will allow me to. I am a college educated individual. I am currently retired for the Mississippi Legislature. I worked with the Legislature for ten years in computer support. I know a lot about computers and computer research. I am easy to work with and very cooperative. I am a diligent worker and I don’t mind using long hours or menial task to perform.
I ask you to consider my offer. I would count it a honour to work for you. If you will meet with me and discover that I am not the type of person that you would want to work for you that would be ok as well.
